ÉPOCA MAGAZINE
During an year and a half that I worked at Época Magazine (the Brazilian version of the Focus Magazine) my main role was to work with infographics and data visualizations, taking care of a weekly section of the magazine. This section was called ‘Diagram’, and we published a spread page of infographics. I had a massive year of learning and experience. Before Época, I worked with infographic in two newspapers for 2 years.
I worked with some very talented infographic designers, one of them was Alberto Cairo, considered by many people as the infographic designer and data visualization guru, and one of the most influent names in this field. By that time he was the Head of Infographics at Época. Other great colleagues were Gerson Mora, Otávio Burin and Marco Vergotti.
